Question:  The pool looks cloudy, what should I do?

Answer:  Do not add products to the pool! Usually when pool water is cloudy, it is a filtration issue. Most common being not filtered long enough or the filter is dirty or worn. Most manufactures recommend filtering 8 to 12 hours a day, depending on size of pool, and time of year. For the pool water to be sanitary it needs to run through the filter 1.5 to 2 times a day at least.  Keeping the filter clean will also help to keep the water clear as well as keep the electric bill lower while running the filter the necessary hours.
